Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: February 1st, 2026
Welcome to Henry's Land Services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. Scope of Work
-
Estimates: All estimates are valid for 30 days. Estimates are based on a visual inspection of the site.
-
Changes: Any changes to the scope of work (additional clearing, larger house pads, etc.) will require a written change order and may result in additional fees.
2. Customer Responsibilities
-
Property Lines: The customer is responsible for clearly marking property lines and boundaries. Henry's Land Services is not liable for work performed on adjacent properties due to incorrect markings.
-
Underground Utilities: While we contact "Call Before You Dig" (811) services, the customer is responsible for identifying and marking private lines (sprinklers, septic lines, private power to sheds, etc.). Henry's Land Services is not responsible for damage to unmarked private utilities.
-
Access: Customer must ensure the site is accessible for heavy machinery on the scheduled start date.
3. Conditions & Unforeseen Circumstances
-
Subsurface Conditions: Our estimates assume standard soil conditions. We are not responsible for additional costs incurred due to hitting "hidden" obstacles like large boulders, buried trash pits, or high water tables that were not disclosed or visible during the estimate.
-
Weather: We reserve the right to delay projects due to inclement weather to prevent excessive damage to your land or to ensure the safety of our crew.
4. Payment Terms
-
Deposits: A deposit may be required to secure your spot on our schedule.
-
Final Payment: Final payment is due immediately upon completion of the project unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
-
Late Fees: Late payments may be subject to a fee per month.
5. Limitation of Liability
-
Minor Property Impact: By nature, land clearing and demolition involve heavy equipment. [Your Business Name] is not responsible for minor ruts, vibrations, or dust that are a standard part of the construction process.
-
Permits: Unless explicitly stated in the contract, the customer is responsible for obtaining all necessary local permits and HOA approvals.
6. Termination
-
Either party may terminate the agreement with 1 days' notice. If the customer terminates after work has begun, they are responsible for payment for all labor and materials used up to that point.
